Abu Dhabi Promoted in the US

In a bid to promote the destination to one of its key markets, Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) recently embarked a whirlwind road show to New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.

Aiming to raise awareness of the emirate while also encouraging more US visitors to experience the destination, the trip involved meetings with major travel agents and key influencers from some of the US’s leading travel organisations.

The US is currently the fifth largest overseas source market for Abu Dhabi, with the emirate welcoming 67,000 American hotel guests in the first five months of this year. Moreover, in 2016 US accounted for 136,657 hotel guest arrivals, spending 592,235 guest nights.
