Ipsos City Index has named Abu Dhabi the second best city in the world to live, work and do business, in with the emirate overtaking both New York and Paris to move up two places since the last survey.

Furthermore, in the period January to May, Abu Dhabi recorded nearly two million hotel guest arrivals indicating four percent growth compared to the corresponding period in 2016.

Commenting on the achievement, H.E. Saif Saeed Ghobash, director general, Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority, revealed, “[...] As we leverage the wealth of Abu Dhabi’s cultural heritage sites, such as the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Al Ain, and the forthcoming opening of Louvre Abu Dhabi, we are confident that our position on the map of leading cities will continue to be cemented.”
