QAIA Served More Travellers in H1

In the first half of the year (H1), Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) welcomed 3,609,875 passengers, registering a 5.4 percent year-to-date increase over H1 2016.

Aircraft movements (ACM) rose 0.7 percent year-on-year, while the amount of cargo handled fell 1.7 percent over H1 2016.

In June, the hub served 628,787 travellers, a surge of 14 percent over the corresponding month in 2016. Similarly, ACM and cargo also grew, up 8.9 percent and 22.2 percent, respectively.
