Throughout the event, ATDD held many meetings with leading industry stakeholders as part of its strategic objectives to highlight Ajman as a unique tourist and investment destination.
“Exhibitions such as ITB Berlin continue to present strong opportunities for us to promote Ajman amongst industry partners from Germany and around the world,” commented H.E. Saleh Al Geziry, director general, ATDD. Germany represents a key target market for Ajman, with more than 9,586 visiting the emirate during 2017. ATDD reported a 27 percent guest nights increase, up 63,365 (2017) compared to 49,885 (2016), for this particular market segment, as well as length of stay increases, up 6.6 nights from 4.6 nights.
“This year’s event has been particularly successful and is indicative of the growing popularity of Ajman among both visitors and investors alike,” concluded Al Geziry.
