Gulf Air recently signed a partnership agreement with Voyager, an inbound travel agency based in Georgia, making it the carrier's general sales agent in the country.

Furthermore, from June 22, Bahrain's flag carrier will operate three weekly direct flights to and from Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport, catering to travellers from the GCC, MENA, Indian subcontinent and far east regions.

Commenting on the signing, Ahmed Janahi, chief commercial officer, Gulf Air, said, "[…] Voyager was the first company that worked closely with the GCC market to promote Georgia as an attractive travel destination for travellers from the region and we are looking forward to the support that their experience will bring to our operations."
