In a significant move, flynas, the Saudi Arabian budget airline, has placed an official order for 30 state-of-the-art A320neo Family aircraft from Airbus on June 20, 2023. This strategic acquisition further bolsters flynas’ existing purchase of 120 A320neo planes from Airbus, which already includes 10 A321XLRs.

The agreement was formally sealed during the prestigious Paris Airshow and witnessed the presence of eminent personalities such as Bandar Almohanna, the CEO and Managing Director of flynas, Christian Scherer, the Chief Commercial Officer and Head of International at Airbus, H.E. Saleh Al-Jasser, the Minister of Transport and Logistic Service, H.E. Abdulaziz Alduailj, the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation in Saudi Arabia, and Ayed Aljeaid, the Chairman of the Board of NAS Holding.

This remarkable milestone solidifies flynas’ standing as a key player in Saudi Arabia’s aviation industry, underscoring the airline’s ambitious plans to continuously expand its fleet with the world’s most advanced and fuel-efficient single-aisle aircraft.
