Radisson Hotel Group’s 2020 Responsible Business Report highlights the group’s latest corporate responsibility targets as outlined in its strategic five-year plan, including the reduction of the company’s carbon and water footprint by 30 percent by 2025, aligning with science-based emissions reduction targets, removing single use plastics, and continuing to drive best practices in water stewardship and responsible consumption behaviors in line with the three pillars of Think People, Think Community and Think Planet.

Carly de Jong has been named curator, aka general manager of Johannesburg’s first Radisson RED hotel. With a hospitality-rich background and a focus on inclusion, de Jong will lead the operation of the hotel set to debut the international hotel brand which presents a playful twist on the conventional to Johannesburg when it opens in June this year.
