International tourist arrivals grew four percent from January to June (H1) of this year, compared to the same period in 2018, according to the latest UNWTO World Tourism Barometer published ahead of the 23rd World Tourism Organization General Assembly.

According to the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO)’s latest barometer, international tourist arrivals grew six percent in the first half of this year after a record year of growth in 2017.

According to the results on tourism expenditure from major outbound markets, reported in the latest World Tourism Organization's (UNWTO) World Tourism Barometer, 2016 marked an increasing demand for international tourism across the world, with many source markets demonstrating a double-digit growth in spending.

The 51st edition of ITB Berlin show was successfully brought to an end, after more than 10,000 exhibitors from 184 countries and regions displayed their products and services on 1,092 stands covering 160,000m² between March 08 – 12.
