IFEMA is working on a very special edition of the International Tourism Fair, FITUR 2021, with the challenge to set a turning point and contribute to the recovery of the tourism industry. An edition that is adapting to the current context and to the needs of companies, countries and destinations that, with their support and participation, support FITUR as a platform for reviving the tourism industry.

The next edition of the International Tourism Fair, FITUR 2021, will be held from the May 19-23, as agreed by IFEMA and the FITUR organising committee.

The International Tourism Trade Fair FITUR 2020, celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, closed its doors with an excellent set of results.

FITUR, the International Tourism Trade Fair, organised by IFEMA will take place at Feria de Madrid from January 22 - 26, and will have a new platform to enhance Africa’s presence at the Fair. This is FITUR MEET AFRICA, a tool for scheduling meetings, discovering Africa’s tourism offering and for networking with industry professionals attending FITUR.

During its next edition the international trade fair will launch FITUR TALENT, a new monographic area that will highlight people, their talent, skills and professional qualification.

With a focus on specialisation, business and professionalisation, the next edition of FITUR, the International Tourism Fair organised by IFEMA, on January 22 – 26, 2020, at Feria de Madrid, presents its strongly enhanced B2B meeting programmes.

The upcoming edition of the International Tourism Fair, FITUR 2019, will present the Dominican Republic as a partner country, a destination that has continued to grow in recent years and which is currently a tourism leader in the Caribbean, with 6,2 million international tourists arriving in 2017, according to the Dominican Republic Central Bank.

The scale of business that FITUR achieves as one of the meetings with the greatest impact in the world tourism industry, which annually brings together more than 200,000 professionals and more than 10.000 companies from 165 countries, together with its ability to detect trends and business models, has inspired IFEMA, through the Madrid International Tourism Fair, to set up the FITURNEXT Observatory.

The upcoming staging of FITUR 2018, which is organised by IFEMA and set to take place on January 17 – 21, 2018, at Feria de Madrid, is to once again become the major international benchmark event of the tourism industry.

The first edition of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Weekend Ibiza runway will take place on July 08 at Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, set to feature Spanish designers and firms such as Alvarno, Jorge Vázquez, Teresa Helbig, Andrés Sardá and Desigual.
