Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced that Hyatt Place San Pedro Sula is officially open, marking the second Hyatt Place hotel in Honduras and fifth Hyatt Place hotel in Central America.
During the second quarter (Q2) of this year, hotels in Central/South America reported occupancy rose 2.4 percent year over year to 55.3 percent, ADR increased 23.6 percent to USD117.24 and RevPAR rose 26.6 percent to USD64.80, according to STR.
