Sabre Corporation, one of the leading technology provider to the global travel industry, is pleased to announce that Alitalia has joined a growing list of airlines implementing Sabre Branded Fares, available now for domestic flights as well as for international short- and medium-haul flights. Most recently, Sabre Branded Fares have been extended to Alitalia flights to and from the US and Canada.

According to the latest data gathered by Alitalia, online check-in through the Alitalia application, the website and self-service check-in kiosks at airports has reached 56 percent of total check-in operations.

Alitalia is set to operate direct flights between Rome and Los Angeles (LA) during the winter season, following the airlines decision to extend this service which was operated in the previous years only between April and October, with three weekly frequencies.

Further expanding travel options and enhancing its network connectivity, Royal Jordanian (RJ) has signed a codeshare agreement with Alitalia, enabling RJ passengers to reach 16 Italian destinations through Rome.

Alitalia announced four additional weekly flights on the popular Rome – Mexico City route, with a new daily service starting July 03.

In a bid to meet the expected high demand of this year's summer period, Alitalia has unveiled its new seasonal routes to domestic and international destinations, as well as increased frequencies.
