The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) hosted its first ever virtual roadshow in China from December 08-09, 2020, connecting more than 100 Chinese tour operators and travel agencies with 37 of its partners and stakeholders, including Destination Management Companies (DMCs) from across the emirate, representatives from Etihad Airways, Yas island, and the emirate’s hotels and attractions.

According to the latest figures released by Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) the emirate saw a seven percent year-on-year increase in the number of hotel guests during the first nine months of the year, with September recording five percent rise compared to the corresponding month in 2016.

In the first five months of the year, Abu Dhabi welcomed 1.97 million hotel guests, a year-on-year growth of four percent, as revealed by Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority.
