Flybe has reported a surge in sales on its European routes into Cardiff and Birmingham as football supporters continue to book seats to attend the 2017 UEFA Champions League final between Real Madrid and Juventus at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on June 03.

Flybe has added extra capacity with larger aircraft operating between Milan and Birmingham between June 02 and 04 to accommodate the peak in demand.

Vincent Hodder, chief revenue officer, Flybe, commented, "Flybe specialises in connecting people and communities and we will always try and go the extra mile in trying to accommodate the many extra fans wanting to support their various teams and attend high profile sporting events throughout the year."
