Belarus Green Cities project is taking on new members, with 10 additional cities set to join the initiative supporting green urban developments in small and medium-sized towns across the country.

The USD3 million project executed by Belarus Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, aims to enhance urban energy efficiency and improve air quality along with building sustainable transportation facilities in specific locations, with Novopolotsk, Polotsk and Novogrudok nominated as the project's pioneers.

Irina Usova, head, Belarus Green Cities, clarified that the additional participating cities will be revealed based on the interest in the project.
