In just three days, the project allowed the company to save about six million pages of paper equivalent to roughly 350 trees.
Commenting on the environmentally friendly initiative, Ingūna Andže, vice president, cabin crew, airBaltic, said, “The Electronic Flight Bag project allows us not only to save on resources, but also improve operative information exchange with other departments, as well as make the reporting process more efficient and updating manuals – easier.”
