A 20-page tribute to the rich Greek gastronomy will be released in March 2017 in France, in the first printed version of the popular broadcast, MasterChef.

Dimitris Trifonopoulos, secretary, Greek National Tourism Organization, hosted the magazine's editorial team in Thessaloniki, Athens and Kea as part of a familiarisation trip.

The incentive was in line with the new strategic tourism plan, which endeavours to extend the touristic period in Greece while promoting thematic forms of tourism, such as the rich Greek gastronomy, abroad.

The three-member mission had the opportunity to visit gourmet restaurants, traditional taverns, as well as seafood restaurants, in order to transmit the variety of dining choices in the destination to their French readers.
