British Airways Launches Restaurant Dining Concept

Following a GBP400 million (USD476 million) investment to enhance its long-haul business cabin service Club World, British Airways has introduced a new restaurant-style dining experience on flights between Heathrow Airport and John F. Kennedy International Airport.

Passengers are now able to select freshly prepared starters, entrees and desserts, complemented by a rich wine and Champagne menu, from display trolleys, served by the crew onto new table settings.

The carrier’s second phase of upgrades focussed on improving travellers’ sleep will begin in the autumn.

Colin Talbot, head, catering, British Airways, commented, “We have extensively tested the new menu on numerous flights, refining elements after every trial, so we believe the final product our customers will receive […] will prove incredibly popular.”
