In line with Turkish Airlines' global expansion strategy, the carrier has inaugurated its new service from Istanbul to Kharkiv.

Flights to Ukraine's second largest city are currently being operated four times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

The frequency is set to increase to seven times per week from May 30.

The Turkish national carrier operates in 120 countries across the world and the latest addition to its network is its 297th destination.
