In a new report titled Making a Success of Brexit for Travel and Tourism, Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA) has set out five priorities in time for the Brexit negotiations.

The report outlines both concerns and opportunities for the travel industry and UK travellers, calling on the government to maintain the ability to travel freely within Europe and beyond, keep visa-free travel between the UK and the European Union (EU), protect valuable consumer rights, give UK businesses operational stability and seize opportunities for growth.

In 2015, UK residents made 37 million trips to EU countries, while the UK welcomed 16 million EU visitors.
