The five new channels are LinePay, WeChat, AliPay, UnionPay and an installment payment plan (zero percent interest for three months) for certain credit card users.
Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth, president, Bangkok Airways, elaborated, “To make sure that the online transactions will be smooth and reliable, Bangkok Airways has teamed up with (Singapore-headquartered pan-Asian payment services company) 2C2P who are experts in this field of systems management.”
He continued the added payment channels, which are already in operation, can also support multi-currency payments which is anticipated broaden opportunities for Bangkok Airways to tap into some new markets in South East Asia and China.
