Deutsche Hospitality has signed an agreement for its first hotel in Thailand, the five-star Steigenberger Hotel Riverside, set to open in Bangkok in 2019.

Once completed, the 259-key property will boast 900m2 of conference and banqueting facilities, along with a 1,200m2 spa and gym area containing both an indoor and an outdoor pool.

Meanwhile, the hotel's gastronomic concepts will include features such as a pool restaurant, a roof terrace bar and restaurant as well as a VIP lounge.

The address is set to boost the company's efforts to establish itself as a gateway to the market in Thailand as well as strengthen its presence in Asia, the group's target growth market, explained Puneet Chhatwal, CEO, Deutsche Hospitality.
