Marriott International announced the openings of two additions to its playful Moxy Hotels brand, namely, Moxy Tokyo Kinshicho and Moxy Osaka Honmachi.

The 205-room Moxy Tokyo Kinshicho features the brand’s industrial-chic DNA with exposed brick walls, polished concrete floors and fun collaborative spaces, while Moxy Osaka Honmachi 155-room hotel is the perfect playground for modern urban explorers in Osaka. The hotels’ 24/7 self-service grab-and-go concept, called Moxy Pickups, has an array of food options and the bar serves up Moxy’s signature cocktails, alongside other food and beverage options.

“We threw out the rule book for conventional hotel models to create Moxy’s Moxy Tokyo Kinshicho and Moxy Osaka Honmachi,” said Mike Fulkerson, vice president, brand and marketing, Marriott International.
