On March 07, Boeing 737 MAX 9 was rolled out in front of employees at the Boeing plant, ahead of delivery in 2018.

Featuring a capacity of 220 passengers and a range of 6,510km, the B737 MAX 9 is the larger sibling of the existing B737 MAX 8.

The new aircraft incorporates the latest technology alongside advanced technology winglets and other improvements to deliver what is hailed as the highest efficiency, reliability and passenger comfort in the single-aisle market.

Keith Leverkuhn, vice president, Boeing Commercial Airplanes, commented, "Our primary focus is delivering an aircraft that has the legendary reliability our 737customers depend on, plus the optimised flexibility and range capability they desire."
