TripAdvisor has announced an agreement to integrate Grubhub, an online and mobile takeout food-ordering company, into TripAdvisor's desktop website, mobile web and mobile application platforms.

Consumers browsing the travel site's restaurant listings in the US will now have the option to order food from Grubhub's extensive network of restaurant partners in 1,100 cities, via an order online button, which takes consumers to the food-ordering service's platform to place an order effortlessly.

"With more than 4.2 million restaurant listings currently on TripAdvisor, we have evolved into a global leader in helping travellers and locals find or reserve a table at the perfect restaurant," said Bertrand Jelensperger, senior vice president, restaurants, TripAdvisor.
