dnata Australia has recently invested AUD1.5 million (USD1.4 million) for the installation of five state-of-the-art x-ray machines across hubs in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide, in order to keep with the mandated Piece Level Screening requirements for cargo consignments to the US.

Along with the changes to cargo screening, which will also impact airlines and the extended freight forwarding community, dnata has identified improvements in operating procedures and provided training for its staff.

dnata has been working closely with customers, government authorities and other cargo terminal operators to ensure that the processes are not only the most safe in the industry but also efficient and supported by customers.
