GBTA Revealed Gaps in Travel Risk Management

Global Business Travel Association’s (GBTA) latest study How to Close Risk Management Loopholes revealed that nearly 30 percent of travel managers are unsure how long it would take to locate employees in crisis situations.

Exploring the establishment and execution of safety protocols, the study, conducted in partnership with Concur, further confirmed that 50 percent of respondents are confident they could locate their staff in the affected area within two hours or less.

Mike Eberhard, president, Concur, elaborated, “With business travel and global uncertainties on the rise, companies today face more pressure than ever to ensure the safety of their travellers. If a crisis or incident occurs, it is critical that businesses be prepared to quickly locate employees and determine who may need assistance.”
