Choice Hotels to Accelerate Cambria Growth

Choice Hotels International recently began a new effort centred on multi-unit development to help grow its Cambria brand more rapidly.

On the heels of opening its 10th Cambria-branded property in 10 months, the expanded approach will use part of the USD475 million capital supports the company has earmarked for the brand to target developers that will build multiple properties.

The latest Cambria openings include a mix of new construction and adaptive reuse projects such as; Cambria Hotel Phoenix Chandler Fashion Center; Cambria Hotel Nashville; Cambria Hotel Dallas; Cambria Hotel North Scottsdale Desert Ridge; Cambria Hotel Westfield; Cambria Hotel Downtown Asheville; Cambria Hotel New Orleans Downtown Warehouse District; Cambria Hotel Newport; Cambria Hotel Chicago Loop; and Cambria Hotel Los Angeles.

“While we will continue to invest in individual projects, we are experiencing strong demand from the development community, as well as institutional capital partners, who want to develop and invest in multiple projects with us," remarked Mark Shalala, vice president, development, upscale brands, Choice Hotels.
