Louis Strauss, general manager Jock Environment Monitoring Unit (JEMU), along with Estiaan Houy, team leader, JEMU, were invited to attend the South African National Parks Achievement Awards Ceremony for 2017, held at the Nombolo Mdluli Conference Centre in Skukuza, on May 26.

This annual awards evening, held by the Kruger National Parks executives, recognises staff of the game reserve for their portrayal of what is classed as excellent work done throughout the year.

Houy received the Award of Appreciation on behalf of the JEMU Unit, for the work that Jock Safari Lodge does in supporting the Section Rangers.
