First Air Mauritius’ A350 Takes Shape

Air Mauritius plans to acquire six Airbus A350-900 wide-body aircrafts, with the construction of the first jet progressing on time for the scheduled delivery in the end of the year.

The expansion of the carrier's fleet will see four airplanes directly purchased from Airbus and two leased from AerCap.

The extra inventory will increase the route capacities and comfort as well as enabling unrivalled operational efficiency through utilisation of the latest technologies.

Claimed as one of the Airbus' most successful aircrafts with 831 orders from 44 global customers to date, the carrier's new addition will be deployed on long-haul routes, mainly between Mauritius and Paris.
