Kenya Airways (KA) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Seychelles Tourism Board to promote tourism and boost intra-Africa traffic to the Indian Ocean archipelago.

The agreement encapsulates a framework for collaboration between both parties, and is underpinned by the joint strategic value of tourism and the airline's purpose to promote sustainable development across the continent.

The partnership will include joint marketing and participation in events across Africa, stakeholder education and the aim of strengthening the carrier's presence in the Seychelles.

Mbuvi Ngunze, CEO, KA, commented, "This partnership will also underscore the important role that [KA] plays in the African economic development, specifically creating vital linkages between the continent and the international market, on which tourism and other key sectors depend on […]."
